Get to Know Ovy Quintanal, DDS, MDS
Dr. Ovy was raised in South Florida where he attended Florida International University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He then attended the distinguished University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he graduated in the top 5%. After receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, he completed a 3 year specialty training residency in Orthodontics and Orofacial Sciences at the University of Tennessee.
As a braces wearing patient himself - not once, but twice! – Dr. Ovy understands how it feels to not be confident with your smile. This has given him a drive/commitment to making the journey to your new smile as comfortable and fast as possible. As a parent himself, he also understands the importance of laying a good oral foundation for every child. He is proud to provide a space where parents can get all the information they need about orthodontic care easily and without judgment.
In his free time, Dr. Ovy enjoys working out and spending time with his wife, Isabel, and son Nicholas. You can likely spot them on the weekends at Nicholas' favorite spot, the Museum of Discovery and Science in downtown Fort Lauderdale!
